Poetry
Over the years people of the parish have generously contributed original poetry for us to include here. There is always room for more, of course, so if you write poetry and are willing to share it, please let us know - either face-to-face or via e-mail:

A Sky Blue Psalm
“Master, we’re going down, do you not care?”
Words of disciples in fear and despair.
The storm it is raging, and filling the boat
So steady the waves and keep us afloat.
We’ve toiled long and hard, and now we are weak
We just need assurance, it’s you whom we seek.
Your power can ease the peril we’re in
So come to our aid, let our rescue begin.
Our rivals assail us, the contest is fraught
Without you, our efforts will all end in naught
Together we’ll face our terrors head on
And relegation fears will soon be all gone!
